To address the concern of data security, transparency and efficient service delivery, BLS – MT uses a leading business process software, Savvion Business Manager 6.5 by Savvion (www.savvion.com). This software is used by the top 20 Fortune corporations. The software runs on a Sun Microsystems server with RAID configuration, tape backup system, offsite backup and a connectivity of 2-4 mbps. SBM implements secure socket layer protocol for data protection.

The software allows the client and only the client, to monitor the progress of his document from the time of submission up to the time that the transcribed document is automatically delivered to him by the system.  The use of the software ensures that the process is perfectly followed and that no “short cuts”  were taken.

Some of the advantages of using SBM:

1. MT Job immediately appears at MT Editor’s desk upon submission by the client. No need to email or inform the editor that a job is waiting.
2. Client can monitor the progress of the transcription. Is it still with the editor? Is it being transcribed? Is it now edited?
3. Client can quickly email the person transcribing or editing if he has any concern.
4. The software automatically measures the time elapsed since job was submitted
5. Transcribed document is immediately forwarded to the MT Editor for review
6. Transcribed document is immediately forwarded to client upon submission by the MT Editor.
